At Autry Park, the most meaningful moments are often the most intimate.
On August 27, Table for Twenty returned at Mayahuel in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, bringing together a curated group of Houston tastemakers for an evening centered on heritage, identity, and the stories we share through food.

Set within Mayahuel’s warm, layered interiors, the experience felt intentionally personal from the outset. Guests gathered around a single table—twenty seats, thoughtfully arranged—where conversation flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails.

At the heart of the evening was Chef Luis Robledo Richards, a TEDx speaker, Netflix-featured talent, and one of Latin America’s most celebrated pastry chefs. His three-course menu reflected both technical precision and cultural depth, offering a refined expression of Mexican cuisine that was as thoughtful as it was memorable.

Each course was paired with artfully crafted cocktails. Conversations moved naturally through themes of food, design, and creativity—exploring how heritage shapes perspective and how shared moments around a table can foster connection.

What emerged was more than a dinner. It was a space for storytelling—where culture, creativity, and personal experience came together to create an unforgettable evening.

With each gathering, Table for Twenty continues to define itself not by scale, but by intention—bringing together a thoughtful mix of voices to create experiences that linger well beyond the table.
