Marcus and Karman Lovely will bring DUO’s café and fitness concept to Autry Park in fall 2023.

“We are thrilled to continue to expand in Houston and open our doors at Autry Park,” said co-owner Karman Lovely. “With the bustling energy of the neighborhood, walkability, and Buffalo Bayou Park across the street, Autry Park is a natural fit for DUO and aligns with our company values of positivity, diversity, and inclusivity.”

The new concept will be located on the first level of the Hanover Parkview mid-rise luxury apartment building and will be 4,200-square-feet – double the space of the first location – with two fitness studios and a café space with indoor and outdoor seating for 65 guests. The fitness area includes a 12-reformer Pilates studio, offering a wide variety of reformer Pilates classes and a “spin theater” that can accommodate class sizes up to 42 people.

The cafe will include specialty coffee, smoothies, a full bar and kitchen, and an all-day food menu. Breakfast items include breakfast tacos, acai bowls, power burritos, and more. The lunch and dinner menu will include paninis and flat breads, among other items. The expanded bar menu will differ from the original location with a larger focus on cocktail offerings. The café will transition from a day to night experince with wine, beer, and extended evening hours to create a bar-like ambiance for guests. 

DUO Houston’s first location opened in January of 2021 on Westheimer, near Kirby Drive. Hanover Autry Park provides The Duo Group with the necessary footprint for expansion in the most anticipated and desirable mixed-use development in Houston. The expansive café combined with the two massive and sensory stimulating studios make Autry Park the perfect home for this unique concept.
