stories

As seen on Eater: Autry Park will be home to a highly anticipated Texas food festival this fall

The restaurants at Autry Park may not be open quite yet but the bespoke urban village is already becoming a dining hot spot. It was announced this week that Autry Park will host Chefs for Farmers, the illustrious food and wine festival, when it makes its debut in Houston this fall.

Chefs for Farmers will take over the central green space at Autry Park on Sunday, October 2 from 1 – 5 p.m. For its inaugural year, a powerhouse lineup of Houston’s top chefs and culinary personalities will partner together and serve up curated, locally sourced dishes for an all-inclusive tasting event that supports Texan family farms.

Chefs like Top Chef: Houston finalist Evelyn Garcia, Aaron Bludorn of Bludorn, and Niki Vongthong, chef of Hidden Omakase, will be paired with local farmers to show what’s possible when using seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Three Autry Park restaurants will participate: Auden, a vegetable-forward, chef-curated restaurant, and two concepts from Ben Berg: Annabelle’s, an American brasserie, and Turner’s Cut, a luxury steak house.

See you this fall, foodies!
