Autry Park celebrates the holidays with first tree lighting

stories

Festive food and fun with friends and family

On Friday, December 2, Autry Park kicked off its inaugural holiday season with an exclusive tree lighting in the park for friends and family of the residents at Hanover Autry Park and Hanover Parkview.

Attendees engaged in festive fun dancing to hits spun by DJ Chris Thomas, creating a one-of-a-kind dried floral wreaths with Petal Bar, and getting to know their neighbors.

With a stunning tree serving as the backdrop, guests were invited to indulge in an exciting preview of bites and beverages from several concepts soon to open at Autry Park in 2023.

Among the offerings were, a chai hot toddy along with lobster vellutata and rhubarb mousse from Auden; Mezcalita, heirloom blue corn taco, multi-color corn “tetela”, and dark chocolate crunch Christmas sphere from Mayahuel; White Margarita, tartlet of roasted tomato, and duck rillette from Annabelle’s and Turner’s Cut; and, Olyishi, maguro crudo, and hamachi crudo from Aiko.

Auden at Autry Park will be the first concept by Kirthan Shenoy, a Houston native who will serve as executive chef of the concept, and Kripa Shenoy, who will serve as executive pastry chef.

Annabelle’s, one of two new concepts from Berg Hospitality Group, will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Turner’s Cut will be a steakhouse in the mold of Turner’s, Berg’s luxurious, Galleria-area supper club.

Mayahuel and Aiko are soon to be announced.
